Late Post: GKF Double (Triple) Surprise!

Date: April 6, 2013
Venue: Mall of Asia

I am not sure why we gathered that day but if my memory serves me right, it was for the celebration of two (or was it three?) members of our group.

We decided to go to MoA since we rarely go there together. It's like a day out/celebration/pre-graduation gathering. Some of our friends were late so we just took some photos while waiting.

I had a wardrobe malfunction in those shoes...oTL

As usual, we had a kris kringle and bought our gifts right then and there. It was hard not letting the other person know who you've got.

For lunch, we ate at Racks. It was CG and Oliv's treat.

We couldn't help it...we were hungry and still waiting for our orders.

It really reminds me of beer...I don't drink beer btw

CHEERS!

We left Racks at around sundown. Yes! We were near manila bay and got out at sundown.

A lot of people wanted to catch a glimpse of this view at the observation deck.
We still didn't go home after eating. We went to the seaside and talked about random things for a while. Enjoying the night breeze while watching the horizon was really relaxing (except for the sea roaches...ugh).

If I had a better camera, this would have turned out better than...white dots on a line.

And so was our adventure for that time! :)

Review: Nylon School Bag

Here is a different school bag. It's material and style is different from the first one.

The material is nylon. It's still water resistant. The strap is of different material though.
This is a nice pick for sporty types. It's also easy to clean and a little carelessness wouldn't do that much immediate damage. Here are some other festures of the bag:

The logo/brand of the bag is promptly embroidered on the lower right corner.

There is a little pocket in the front between the straps. You could put your ID here, or maybe some cards. I'd probably place my band-aids here. :P

Then here is the bigger pocket in front of the bag. It has multiple card holders, two for pens, and another bigger pocket. Then in the middle is a bigger zip-on one.

Inside the main compartment, you can see the water bottle holder. It could contain both hot & cold since it has an insulation lining. The problem is, it sort of gets a bit limited when the bag's support flap is lowered.

Like the leather one, it also has a latch-on pocket where you could put papers or your laptop. It could only hold the small one though.

Then the support flap for the bottom of the bag. It doesn't have a secret pocket.

And here's the bag when you carry it! My bangs are covering my face...lol

Here are my scores for this product:

Material: 7/10
Carrying Capacity: 8/10
Looks: 8/10
Weight: 9/10

Again, special thanks to Senbazuru and it's nice owner, Francine! :)

Review: Leather school bag

With my review class using legal size papers, I needed a new bag that could hold my documents. So I present to you, my leather school bag!

It's a really well-made bag that makes me feel younger but still look a little formal. I know that most people in Japan would not use this bag on days without class but I am attending a "class" LOL. Anyway, this is not real leather btw. I believe it's just synthetic. I would not recommend it for people who cannot handle their things carefully since this material can be quite troublesome if not handled correctly. Well, let me show you some of the bag's features.

First is the latch-on pocket inside where you could put a small laptop or maybe some papers you do not want scattered around your bag. Then the water bottle holder. I tried putting mine in it. It's a bit small but the diameter fits snugly. Also, it may not be visible in this photo but there's a secret compartment underneath the bottom flap where you could place your phone or some extra money.

Next is the big pocket in front of the bag. It has another small one inside and two pen holders. I use this for my ID and the body strap. I have a pen case so I'm not really using the holders.

Here's a photo of me using the bag. I already put some things on the hanger. It's a stuffed key chain I got from one of my friends and the other is from teen vogue that says "chic".

Here are my scores for this product:

Material: 8/10
Carrying Capacity: 8/10
Looks: 9/10
Weight: 7/10 (with nothing in it, it's already quite heavy)

Special thanks to Senbazuru shop and its nice owner, Francine! I'm looking forward to our next transaction. :)

My Past Month...

...was really more of a routine than events. All I was doing was going to my review classes then back home to study more and attend to my online work. Even though it was like a cycle, each day was not the same as the day before.

So far, I've been in the review for more than a month and I feel like there has been some change in how I view my upcoming licensure examinations. One thing is for sure, I still have my goal unchanged. It may be a very difficult road as I need to balance studies, work, and leisure, but the outcome I want is all I need.

I might find it hard to blog about certain events but I will definitely allot some time to catch up.
