Guns aren't only for boys. Girls can handle the ammos too.
Date: May 28, 2011
Venue: Beshy's Loft
Concept: We were supposed to take some group pictures but the other two members weren't able to come so we just did it by ourselves with a different yet similar theme in mind.
The guns we used were very similar ones. Changing the theme from group to partners was hard for me since I already drew up the setting in my mind.
What we came up with was the world domination touch. This explains the globe there...ugh..
Looking like I would do anything to protect what I want is one of the easiest kind of face I can make. It's sort of natural for me. Beshy would be the seductive and sly type of character then.
This pic came a bit off...I wasn't sure what I was doing at the time since I need to hurry back before the camera starts shooting.
My only plan that was able to push through. With the twin guns and the cross, I like this picture. Although this shot makes me look very short. Not that I am really tall though. Hahaha...Anyway, I think this is a good shot.
After the shoot, I spend the night at the place. Then went home before noon the next day. It was fun! I wish we could have done an outdoor shoot that time. Sorry for the late blog~ XP

Celebration & Separation
Date: may 26, 2011
Time: 10am - 4pm
Venue: Trinoma & The Block
We walked around the mall at 2pm. While doing so, we had the time to actually have a mini-photoshoot at some places that looked interesting. Yes, there were people looking but we all have our own business to mind.
It felt like I was actually in the place where Kazehaya and Sawako first met. I love this place. It's such a shame I hadn't found out about it until yesterday.
When we got tired of taking pictures at the same place, we decided to stroll around the mall and ended up at Powerbooks. It turns out that they have a sale on that day! I couldn't let this chance pass and I bought the last novel by Paulo Coelho that I really want to read, Brida.
To change our phase, we went to SM The Block. There we really saw how deserted the staircases were.
We were taking photos here for quite a while and not one person showed up. Their stairs are actually better than the stairs at the main malls of SM where there's very dim lighting. This place is well-lit and really clean. It is also not that tiring to climb because the steps were not that high, very feet friendly.
At 4pm, we headed home because it started to rain. We didn't want to get wet like the day before so we parted. This was the last day we would see one another. Two of us has the Mon - Wed schedule while the other two has the Thurs - Sat schedule. We made sure that nothing ruins this day of fun.

New 1k and 20 peso bill~
I got my hands on 1k and 20 peso bills!! I'll let you have a look:
It got a bit darker...and it really looks like play money when you hold it...XDD |
The 20 pesos got lighter and Manuel Quezon looks so much younger! |
I'm having trouble with this right now. I don't want to use it yet since there are still so few in circulation. Only a handful of people can get their hands on these. Lucky for me, my uncle works in a bank...Yey!
Add some Magic!!
Do you have those really old key chains and straps you rarely use anymore? Ever thought of just throwing them away but they all remind you of some memories with people you love? But still, they seem of no more use and now you don't know what to do with them?
Despair no more! I also had the same problem with some of my straps and chains lying in my stuffs and I found a way to make them useful again.
Have you seen those really "kikay" girls on television with a whole bunch of straps hanging on their phones or keys? Well, that is very much the concept of what I made. It's simply a bunch of key chains and cell straps together in one package. I added some old bead accessories and some laces I got from a wedding I attended last year.
I used the thingy that attaches a harness to other things as a general holder for everything. You can use this to accessorize plain colored bags or simply wear it on your jeans just to spice things up.
Ang there you go! A whole new accessory made from your old ones. What's good about having this bunch is that you won't be bored looking at it because it's just like a baby's toy. It is made with a bunch of other things.
You can now head out and have fun with your friends without having to worry about what to do with all those mementos special someones gave you.

Leadership Development Program
Venue: Philippine Red Cross Manila Chapter
Date: May 13-14 2011
Reason for attending:
I want to have a life. Basically, I was just bored at home without anything to do so I decided to go for something to happen to my life somehow. It was purely out of a whim.
DAY 1: May 13 - Orientation
It was hard waking up early in the morning when I had only slept an hour before I woke up. AM, Mel, and I decided to meet up at school since we want to confirm the results of the battery exam. Coincidentally, we met Mary, Aicel and Olive at school. We went to the headquarters together.
A small enough room was used as our venue. We met our speakers and some of our batchmates and some seniors.
The training started with a little getting to know each other as usual. A big circle was formed and each one has to say their name, make an action, and repeat the action and names of those who talked before them. We had a hard time because the process started in the opposing side. To actually forget the name of one of my batchmates was so embarrassing. I was really ashamed that his name is the only one I forgot or rather I didn't pay attention to.
The speaker, Sir A, grouped us and each group has to draw their expectation and their flag, decide on a name, and make a cheer. Our team was "The Best Team" and we also won the best cheer. Then we had a debate about the proposed renewal of marriage contracts. After a break, we had some talk/lecture about Red Cross. Then we played janken, where the losers have to stand behind the winner and the team who loses last will have to crawl between the other team's members' legs. Our team lost but that was a fun game because I had the chance to pull on their legs when I went through.
After lunch, there was a change in speaker and most of it was only about red cross. The rest was like some lecture but the speaker, Ms. L, was really fun.
We ended the day early so AM, Mel, and I went to look around the bookstore for some things they needed. After an hour or so, we all went home, tired.
DAY 2: More Activities
We started our training later than usual but there was already an exciting activity. We tackled self-awareness by writing down our strengths, weakness, Achievements, Failures, Fears in life, Foreseen Future and drawing something that symbolizes us.
Just to say, I drew a manga to symbolize myself. Haha...I'm not telling the reason here though.
Our talk lasted for almost three hours and had an early lunch.
There were tons of activities that awaited us after lunch. There was charade, make-something-useful-out-of-things-deemed-useless, paint a picture, and the most awaited Amazing Race.
The race was really tiring with all four stations. Our group wasn't able to finish them all though.
First station: Tower building
Materials: Plastic Cups, a rubber band with six strings tied to it
Time Limit: Two Minutes
Objective: To build a tower with three bases and three storeys tall without using the hands to pile the cups.
----------This is really hard and tiring to do because the place where you need to make the tower is rather far from where you get the cup and there was strong winds! We managed to finish on time somehow and proceeded to the next challenge.
Second Station: Benta[Sell] Challenge
Materials: Scraps like Sticks, Stones, Bottle Caps, Candy Wrappers and Leaves etc.
Time Limit: No Time Limit
Objective: To sell each scrap for 10php with a total of 100php [there were ten kinds of scraps]
----------After the first challenge, we went to see Ms. L who was in charge of the station but we ended up doing it wrong. We should have sold all of the scraps first before going to the station! We really lost a lot of time. During our sale, we met various types of people who want and do not want to help us. What pissed us off most was some SM employees who were so rude when we asked them if they wanted to buy some or even just donate for Red Cross. They asked us various information like how do they know we are really from red cross and shits about them marketing. Crap! We moved on after a while. We met this really nice old woman who gave us ten pesos despite her own need for the money. We were really touched when we saw that those ten pesos probably was mostly from her sales. She really had a good heart.
We were really glad to arrive at the station with Ms. L still there. She asked us to use half of the money to win the most number of tickets we could at quantum. We hurried inside and played then returned to the headquarters.
Fourth Station: Plastic Balloon challenge
Materials: Bucket, plastic balloons
Time Limit: 20 minutes
Objective: To place a blown up plastic balloon in the bucket without using the hands.
-----------We had a hard time making the balloon because our plastic balloons won't blow up. We managed to make a little one and used it in the challenge. Our group literally used our heads to place the balloon in the bucket wihtout touching it. And so the end of our challenge.
We headed back to our room for the evaluation, souvenir exchange, and some picture taking. Afterwards, we head our separate ways.
Aftermath Thoughts:
I actually enjoyed this leadership training. Out of all the leadership trainings I had attended when I was in grade school and high school was nothing compared to this one! It was really worth the time. I'm glad I was really bored the past days. If not, I wouldn't have the chance to experience something as wonderful as this and realize many things in the world.

I REALLY need to get a life...
[1]I just read this blog on the net and got hit on the spot with what other people say about their experiences. I just thought that I should stop one of my habits when it comes to relationships.
[2]Since this is my moody phase of the month, I came to a realization that I don't really have something I'm really devoted for...or so I thought. I am really hooked on photography and someday, I would really like to own a much better camera (hopefully, a DSLR) than the digital cameras we share at home. Holding a camera is something that I could do all day long and don't get tired of it unless somebody ticks me off.
Right now, I don't have a good camera but I would still like to take pictures of different things.
[3]Fashion is another things that got me good recently. I may not have the body to look good in any type of clothing right now, but, I know what works for me and I'm planning on changing my wardrobe slowly to fit my personality more. All I have right now are some dull plain clothes that would make someone look too lazy to sport a more appropriate outfit. I know it's hard to pull something off especially when I need to be mindful of what I wear since I only commute to and from school. Obstacles are there to be surpassed so I'm going to do my best to buy right clothes appropriate for my body type and for my age. I mentioned my age because I realized that most of my clothes doesn't make me look like I'm eighteen but a twelve year old pre-teen. I'd like to look young enough to be appealing and mature enough to be seen as someone responsible and trustworthy.
[4]Although anime and manga are stuffs I'm addicted to, I need to stop trying to be some half-assed seiyuu when I speak to people. I tend to use different voices depending on who I am talking to. It just makes me creepy and weird. I need to get that out of my system. My real voice is sort of "whole" that you wouldn't know, unless I sing, that I can reach high notes well being a soprano and all.
These are an awful lot of realizations...I really am quite the blabbermouth even on the internet huh. Well, I still don't have a life and honestly, I don't even know what to do to have one. Guess I just have to search randomly...So, cutting it here. -out-

Ruined Mood
I woke up quite late today since we were out yesterday with my cousins at megamall. I was in a really good mood since the night was cooler than the previous nights because of the rain and today is Mother's Day. I greeted my friends' moms and were really having fun conversations using my phone and it all just had to be ruined by a piece of scissors.
It was about a week ago when I cleaned my stuffs in the room. I had to rearrange things a little because I need better access to those I often use. Now, people here at home are saying they can't find a scissor they left stuck in one of the compartments I am using. Honestly, I didn't see any scissors while I was cleaning my things and if I ever have, it would merely be impossible for me to throw it away. What would I do to a pair of scissors? I have two I bought myself. I just don't want this very mistrusting environment. When I say I didn't see, I DID NOT SEE IT. Why does one have to repeat it over and over? They always tell me that I am too messy with my things and when I clean things up they accuse me of throwing away THEIR things that are in MY place? When I lose my things, they just say it was because I didn't keep it in the proper place and when it comes to theirs I am said to be the culprit. That's just simply unfair.
Ahhh.....now my head hurts. I'm cutting this here.
