A Tribute to Andres Bonifacio: Chorale Concert

I wasn't quite in the mood yesterday so.

Our professor in ethics made our class attend a chorale concert in celebration of Gat Andres Bonifacio's birthday, November 30. For those who doesn't know who Bonifacio is, he is one of country's heroes. He lead a rebellion group called KKK against the Spaniards. Now, the concert was held at the PhilAm Life Auditorium. I went there late purposefully but found out that I was the first one to arrive. Once again, I proved how our people are so not strict on time. We waited another whole hour before everyone else arrived. Still, there were some who didn't show up. We were not even more than 20. The show was great and one of their songs sent tears running down my face. Here are the songs the Andres Bonifacio Choir sang at their concert:

  • Inday Pamutas Na
  • Walay Angay
  • Si Nanay Si Tatay
  • Atin Cu Pung Singsing
  • Sitsiritsit
  • O Naraniag Nga Bulan
  • Unsaon Ko
  • Dungawin Mo Hirang
  • Maalaala Mo Kaya
  • Ang Tangi Kong Pag-ibig
  • Iniibig Kita
  • Sa Ugoy ng Duyan
  • Jocylenang Baliuag
  • Kayumangging Malaya
  • Alay sa Inang Bayan
  • Bayan Ko
  • Pilipinas Kong Mahal
  • Payapang Daigdig
  • Maligayang Pasko sa Lahat ng Lahi
  • Pasko Na Naman Sa Bayan Kay Ganda
  • Noche Buena, Kay Sigla Ng Gabi
  • Kasadya Ning Takna-a
I hope I'll be able to attend more of this kind of show in the years to come! ^_^
